Writers Club — Descriptive Writing
Term 1 focuses on Descriptive writing for Years 1-6 students. Students learn to use sensory language, vivid imagery, and precise vocabulary to bring their writing to life in every session.

The Writers Club covers four writing genres across four terms — Descriptive, Narrative, Persuasive, and Informative — for students in Years 1-6.
Term 1 focuses on Descriptive writing for Years 1-6 students. Students learn to use sensory language, vivid imagery, and precise vocabulary to bring their writing to life in every session.
Term 2 develops Narrative writing skills for Years 1-6, helping students build story structure, character development, dialogue, and plot through weekly live Zoom classes and structured worksheets.
Terms 3 and 4 build Persuasive and Informative writing skills — helping Years 1-6 students construct arguments, present evidence, and communicate ideas clearly and confidently.

Each term focuses on a specific writing genre — Descriptive (Term 1), Narrative (Term 2), Persuasive (Term 3), or Informative (Term 4). Students learn the purpose, structure, vocabulary, and techniques needed to write clearly and creatively in that genre.

Founder
Ambreen founded FunFox Program in 2020, driven by over 20 years of experience as an educator and inspired by her own mother's belief that learning should blend structure, creativity, challenge, and encouragement. She created FunFox to provide children with the essential reading and writing support often missing from mainstream schooling — building the curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking skills that carry students through high school and beyond.
