Excelencia Learning Pty Ltd (ABN 79 639 481 879) ("FunFox", "we", "us", or "our") operates the FunFox Program app and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you use our app and website. We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your children in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

By using the FunFox app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who this policy applies to

The FunFox app is a parent-facing application for families enrolled in the FunFox writing tutoring program. Accounts are created by FunFox for enrolled parents and guardians. The app is intended to be used by adults (parents/guardians) on behalf of their enrolled children. It is not intended for direct use by children.

2. Information we collect

Account information you provide:

Information about your enrolled child:

We do not collect payment or financial information through the app. Payments are handled separately outside the app.

We use the information we collect to:

We do not use children's information for marketing or advertising, and we do not serve advertising in the app.

4. Children's privacy

We take the privacy of children seriously. Information relating to a child is provided and managed by the parent or guardian who holds the account. We collect only the information necessary to deliver the tutoring service. We do not knowingly allow children to create their own accounts or provide personal information directly, and we do not sell or share children's personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

Your information is stored on secure servers located in Australia. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we take ongoing steps to safeguard the information we hold.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. We may retain certain information after account closure where required for legal, accounting, or legitimate business purposes, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.

8. Accessing, correcting, or deleting your information

You may access or update most of your account information directly within the app under the Account section.

To request deletion of your account and associated personal information, email us at support@funfoxprogram.com.au with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will process verified requests within 30 days, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988. Please note some records may be retained where legally required.

You also have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.

9. Notifications

With your permission, we may send push notifications about classes, schedule changes, and account updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
